Arlesey fishing lakes

I was back home for the day to return the first shipment of junk from my house at Uni and whilst waiting for my dad to get home I had a little walk round Arlesey fishing lakes just north of the a507.

In about 30mins I had ncie views of a male grey wagtail caring for some fledglings along the river:

male:one of at least 3 fledglings:There were also many house martins feeding over the lakes and one common tern fishing along the river. A common whitethroat was also seen carrying food.

The reeds were filled with banded demoiselle and blue tailed damselflies:
Male banded demoiselle:Female Blue tailed damselfy:There were smaller numbers of common blue damselfly:and finally a few red eyed damselflies:All the best,
Dan
